Carpe Diem is the newest hostel in Zagreb. It has three rooms with sixteen beds (two rooms with six beds and one room with four beds). Rooms in color, old redecorated furniture and garden to chill in out are just some of the things that will make your holidays more fun. We have a great chill out room where you can have a drink if it rains or you dont like the garden.

It is managed by several enthusiasts who believe freedom has no limits and are not in it just for the money.

We will organize exhibitions of comics, old plates, pictures and paintings and from time to time we will have acrobatic, juggling and drama workshops.

Hostel Carpe diem is located on a little hill called Salata, 10 minutes from the main square -Trg Bana Jelacica. You can choose three bus and two tram lines to the very center but it within ten minutes walking distance. If you choose the bus, go to the Cathedral ( two minutes from the main square), where a small bus terminal is located. There you board the bus number 106 (direction Mirogoj) or 201 (direction Petrova) or 226 (direction Svetice) and you get off on the third station. On your left side is Ulica Milana Sufflaya, our hostel is on house number three.
Salata is a neighborhood of many little family houses and gardens. Near the hostel there is a supermarket, kiosk, grocery store and pharmacy. Famous Zagreb bars and night clubs are only a 5-10-minutes-walk away. Club Gjuro, blues and rock n roll club Purgeraj, night clubs Fanatic, Jedinica, modern rnb clubs Papaja on alata swimming pool and famous Tkalciceva street, which is one of the centers of Zagreb nightlife. In the very neighborhood you can find Broadway Tkalciceva center with many shops, café bars, restaurants, cinemas. In the same street is the Theater Komedija, and the most famous historical building in Zagreb the Zagreb Cathedral. Near the Cathedral there is an open market and below the market is the main city square Trg Bana Jelacica. The main square is the central point of city life and an excellent starting point for sightseeing.
